USM Haller Desk

This has been the principle of USM Modular Furniture since it's inception over 40 years ago. In 1960 Paul Schaerer met with Swiss Architect Fritz Haller help design and construct the new USM factory building. Schaerer loved Haller's ability to fulfill his requirements for a flexibly factory building with the vision of a unique steel modular construction system. Shortly after the opening of the USM Factory, the two began creating a furniture line to compliment the qualities of the architecture of USM's new headquarters. The result of their collaboration is a flexible system based on simple components that would adapt and withstand the growth and change we all face in our lives. This is a black desk with a pencil/drawer/file ped to accompany it. Contact us for a price.

USM Haller Desk

Another well constructed desk from USM Modular Furniture. It has a pear wood vaneer, however it has no ped to accompany it. Today Haller is considered a design classic and has been acquired for the permanent design collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York. Our price for this desk is $600.
